Alex Caden
Alex's Rock Project journey began when he joined as a student at the age of 14. It was where he first picked up the drum sticks and discovered the confidence, community and excitement that comes from playing music alongside other young people.
Alex says: "Since then, music has become a huge part of my life. I am a First Class Honours graduate in Music Performance and Business from BIMM Birmingham, and I have built experience as both a performer and tutor. I currently play with my band, THE STRAZE, as well as alongside singer-songwriter Joe Chandler. I have performed at venues including the O2 Ritz Manchester, O2 Institute Birmingham and Electric Ballroom London, toured in support of JAWS, and supported artists including The K’s, Overpass, Keo and Ten Tonnes.
After returning to Rock Project as a drum tutor, I saw first-hand the impact the sessions have on students. It is not only about developing musical ability; it is about building confidence, forming friendships and creating a genuine sense of belonging. Taking on the Shrewsbury and Telford franchises felt like a natural next step for me.
As Franchisee, my focus is on creating an encouraging, high-energy environment where young musicians can develop their skills, perform live, meet like-minded people and enjoy being part of a band. Having started my own musical journey through Rock Project, I am passionate about giving the next generation the same opportunities to grow, both on and off the stage"

Mike Goodlet
Mike is a multi-instrumentalist and music graduate skilled in vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. After working in studios in Shoreditch and Maidstone, he moved into performance and freelance mixing in 2012, contributing to tracks featuring Ed Sheeran, Fuse ODG, Wyclef Jean, Sean Paul, Tinchy Stryder, and Wretch 32. With over 12 years’ teaching experience, Mike has worked across genres from pop and R&B to heavy rock and folk.
His credits include two Gold and one Platinum-certified UK records, nearly half a million YouTube views, and performances with multiple bands. He’s currently touring the UK with This is Britpop.
