Franchisee
Lisa Wordley
Music has been a lifelong passion for Lisa—from singing into a vacuum cleaner as a child to studying classical piano from the age of nine. In the ‘80s, she became a keyboard player, performing with numerous club and rock bands across southern England, from open-air festivals to London’s iconic Marquee Club.
Lisa has also worked as a session musician in renowned studios such as The Crypt, and is an accomplished flugelhorn and cornet player. In recent years, she’s expanded her talents behind the scenes as a sound engineer at major music festivals—or simply enjoying time with her guitar.

Franchisee
Liesa Smith
The “other” Liesa — yes, it gets confusing! Second in command to the little one and usually running around like a loon in the background.
I love classic rock, discovering new sounds from our students, and occasionally jumping on the drums. Mostly, I handle social media, marketing, photos, and videos to spread the word about The Rock Project.
You’ll also find me doing roadie and sound tech duties — and yes, fixing XLR leads (grrr!). I’m always on the lookout for gigs and events where our students can perform, grow in confidence, and shine.

Session Manager
Mike Goodlet
Mike is a multi-instrumentalist and music graduate skilled in vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. After working in studios in Shoreditch and Maidstone, he moved into performance and freelance mixing in 2012, contributing to tracks featuring Ed Sheeran, Fuse ODG, Wyclef Jean, Sean Paul, Tinchy Stryder, and Wretch 32. With over 12 years’ teaching experience, Mike has worked across genres from pop and R&B to heavy rock and folk.
His credits include two Gold and one Platinum-certified UK records, nearly half a million YouTube views, and performances with multiple bands. He’s currently touring the UK with This is Britpop.

“I would encourage anyone thinking their child might benefit from playing an instrument to give the Rock Project a go. The tuition from the music teachers is fantastic and I've seen first hand how much my daughter has progressed on guitar as well as in confidence over the last few months."
