Martin has been at the forefront of music education for many years, teaching everyone from beginners to degree-level students. He spent a decade at the renowned Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, gaining extensive experience as an educator.
His work includes writing for Guitarist and Guitar Techniques magazines, featuring in a Marshall Amplification instructional DVD, and authoring The Squier Handbook—distributed worldwide by Fender.
Martin has collaborated with artists from bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chesney Hawkes, Feeder, and The Stranglers. He remains an active performer and an in-demand guitar tutor.
