Paul has always had a passion for music after discovering Motown in his Father’s record collection. By the age of 13, he had a passion for rock music and dreams of being in a band. Sadly, the dream was never realised as one to one guitar tuition failed to inspire. 

 

Paul trained to be a plumbing and heating engineer and successfully moved into management, but always felt something was missing. “My passion for music has always been there. The one constant joy in my life has been live music. As soon as I read about the Rock Project, I knew I was going to get involved. Don’t be surprised to see me in one of the Encore sessions!”

 

Paul bought a guitar 20 years ago, and finally started to learn to play it 5 years ago. He enjoys helping to bring the same enjoyment he gets from playing his favourite songs and help inspire the next generation of musicians. 

 

Paul’s wife and children were also excited about bringing the Rock Project to Preston and are actively involved.
