Abby and Jim are professional musicians and franchisees of The Rock Project in North East Wales. With years of live performance, touring, and recording experience, they bring a wealth of real-world music knowledge to their teaching.
Abby’s love of music began in childhood, inspired by her musician father and grandfather. After performing across North Wales as a teenager, she toured Asia, formed international bands, and later performed as a bassist and singer across the UK, including at Glastonbury and on BBC Radio Wales with her current band Bau Cat.
Jim began gigging at age 12, touring the UK and Europe with various acts, and has performed with artists including The Magic Numbers, The Coral, and even actor Kiefer Sutherland. He’s recorded at Abbey Road Studios and played festivals nationwide.
Together, Abby and Jim combine their performing careers with their passion for teaching, inspiring young musicians to grow in skill and confidence through The Rock Project.
