Maldon Franchisee, Joy Smith

Joy Smith

Joy lives on the East coast of Essex and is married with 2 daughters, 11 and 7. After initial careers in Insurance accountancy, she trained to become an approved driving instructor and enjoyed this career for 12 years before spending the last 2 years concentrating solely on raising her daughters. Missing the interaction of teaching, Joy explored many franchises before discovering the Rock Project.

Joy has been in a Rock N Roll band for 16 years and is also a key member of a local large contemporary choir. With both daughters exploring their own musical abilities and seeing their enjoyment, obviously, the Rock Project was the perfect choice.

With schools due to open around the Dengie Hundred and Billericay areas initially in January 2016, Joy is excited to enter this new career and bring her experience, passion for music and vocal talents to help children enjoy the thrill of creating music.
