Session Manager - Exeter
James Mardon
James has been playing guitar for 17 years, studied music at college and university and has a degree in Professional Musicianship. When not teaching, he performs in a few bands and as a solo musician up and down the country, as well as tours in Norway, Poland, Czech Republic and festival appearances in the UK and Romania. He enjoys most styles of music including jazz, rock, blues, classical, folk and heavy metal.

Session Manager - Plymouth
Simon Marsh
Simon picked up the drumsticks at three and hasn’t stopped since. By 12, he was performing with his first band, kicking off a career that’s taken him across Europe and the UK—from Aberdeen to Moscow. Highlights include Reading Festival, Brixton Academy, and The Camden Roundhouse. With a rich mix of touring, studio, and session work, Simon now channels his experience into drum tutoring, helping students become confident, expressive players through his dynamic teaching style.
“I would encourage anyone thinking their child might benefit from playing an instrument to give the Rock Project a go. The tuition from the music teachers is fantastic and I've seen first hand how much my daughter has progressed on guitar as well as in confidence over the last few months."
