Russell lives in New Malden near Kingston Upon Thames with his wife and young son. Coming from a background as a data analyst but with a lasting passion for music he decided to pursue a career in music education, specifically teaching guitar to students of all ages. Having discovered The Rock Project through one of his guitar students Russell immediately wanted to find out more and realised this was the perfect venture for him to fulfil his passion of teaching music and providing lifelong skills and confidence to children and adults alike.

Russell has played in many bands over the years and is currently lead guitarists in a blues/rock cover band called Ride North. He has played for over 25 years and holds a grade 8 distinction in electric guitar from LCM/RGT.

Russell will be opening up new schools in the Kingston area soon and cannot wait to bring his passion, experience and guitar knowledge to the area.
