Peter is a bassist and vocalist from Telford in Shropshire. He’s been playing since he was 8 and joined his local Rock Project at 14. After a few years Peter began coming to sessions early and helping teach younger students which began his passion for teaching. He stayed until he turned 18 and left for university in Birmingham, studying Music Technology.
After returning to Telford, Peter got in contact with Telford Rock Project again and became the bass tutor, carrying on what he started. Now, 4 years later, he’s opening his own franchise back in his university city.
Peter has played all over the country with various bands including performances at The Royal Albert Hall and at the Indigo O2 Arena. He has released two solo albums with a live acoustic EP and various releases with his bands. Recently, Peter has been playing shows across the west midlands with Domino Sugar and Cold Company as well as performing solo and working as a sound engineer.
He says, “The Rock Project formed me as a musician and as a person and I hope it can do the same for many more young people!”
