Holywood & Newtownabbey Franchisee, Bill Andrew

Bill Andrew

Bill Andrew lives in Templepatrick in Co. Antrim and is married with one teenage daughter. Educated to degree level his career has largely been in Sales Management with a number of manufacturing companies in the plastics industry. However he always had a strong desire to own his own business and in 1998 he bought his first management franchise and opened the first Pirtek Centre in Ireland.

He sold that business six years later but continued his interest in franchising with further business start-ups in Northern Ireland, in Logistics then later with Renewables. In 2013 he set up his own franchise consultancy business, Bigfish Franchising, and developed a relationship with The Rock Project as one of his many clients.

Bill was so impressed with The Rock Project concept that in 2015 he decided to take on the Franchise Master License for Ireland, with the aim of setting up and running his own Rock Project schools in Northern Ireland and developing and supporting a network of Rock Project franchisees throughout the Republic of Ireland.

Bill says “The Rock Project appealed on many levels. As a business concept it’s well proven, with the franchise now in its tenth year. But more than that, the idea of teaching music to a kids at all levels in such a fun environment really appeals as a lifestyle choice and I can’t wait to get started”

Bill is aiming to open his first schools in the Newtownabbey area in September of this year and invites students and tutors to get in touch to find out more.
